The Sir Ian Wood Building
Robert Gordon University Garthdee Road, AB10 7GJ Aberdeen
To mark the centenary of the end of WW1 Gray’s School of Art and RGU collections have generated an ambitious project to commemorate some of the innovative and creative thinking that times of conflict can throw up.
Staff and students from Gray’s will collaborate with Primary and Secondary pupils from local schools to build a near life-sized WW1 tank and a convoy of nearly 100 ships bedecked with the stunning Dazzle camouflage scheme.
If you want to come along and help manufacture our iconic Mk.IV British tank we will be running twighlight construction sessions open to all. The tank will be made using only cardboard and other basic household materials, so no specific skills are needed. Everyone is welcome to join us in realising this once in life time event
