Revolve Fashion Show sees RGU Student Association's Go Green team partner up with Gray's School of Art Fashion and Textile Design students to present an exhibtion and fashion showcase at Robert Gordon University's Sir Ian Wood Building. Gray's students will be taking clothes previously destined for landfill, that the Go Green team have collected at the Kaim Co-op re-use and recycling hub, and redesigning them into entirely new pieces. This event showcases the many uses and creations you can make from worn out or out of favour garments, and beyond this it celebrates the successes of the whole Go Green Revolve project, a year long programme of activities designed to re-imagine the concept of waste. Come along to the show from 6pm or join us from 4pm to have a look other aspects of the project, including the rescued bike parts from our community Bikepad that have made all sorts of unlikely transitions, to furniture sculpture and other home accessories. Do not miss out on this free event in which can inspire your creative mind, give you something useful to take away, while also preserving the planet in the process. See our social media channels below to find out more information on the event and the various other initiatives run by Go Green.
